***Interview*** Unfortunately we do not have the audio interview we conducted with Moneen as we had technical difficulties. We were gutted it went this way as it was such an enlightening discussion! We spoke with Kenny from Moneen before the show in an upstairs toilet we found at the Leicester charlotte when they came through with Brand New on the recent UK tour. Chris (Hippy) also joined us towards the end of the interview. They are both extremely down to earth and very grateful to be where they are. The band came out to UK off the back of a Vagrant records tour that travelled through USA. Kenny was very excited to be in the UK for their first tour here and the shows they had already played had gone down very well! He told us about the first show of the tour in Brighton where they met a group of Canadians which made them more comfortable and at home. He told us that he loves to meet new people and make new friends in new places, which Moneen defiantly did on this tour. At this show in Leicester all the guys seemed to really enjoy playing live. Kenny threw himself round the stage destroying equipment and cracking his head off of a hanging light! They put on a very energetic show that could only have inspired the crowd. A small amount of the crowd were also singing along! Moneen
